MAC & Elan Valley are looking for a Birmingham-based artist to complete a paid residency exploring remoteness and connectedness.
The chosen artist will exhibit either completed work or work-in-progress at MAC in 2023.
– £6000 fixed fee
– Free studio at MAC x4 weeks
– Free accommodation at Elan Valley x4 weeks
We welcome artists from a wide range of disciplines and experience to apply, including but not limited to; painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, live art/performance and socially engaged practice. For this residency we are particularly interested in receiving applications from people of all cultures and ethnicities, including those that may experience racism in our society, those with LGBTQ+ identities, and/or identify as neurodivergent, d/Deaf and disabled, and those that have experienced socio and economic barriers.
