Hassan Vawda is conducting doctoral research on the place of religion and belief in an art museum’s ecology. His research foregrounds Islam as a religion to explore this wider question.
Hassan is conducting two types of focus groups to discuss observations, perceptions and speculations on religion and belief in art museums in the UK:
- Focus Group One: A discussion with cross institutional art museum staff. This is for anyone currently working or volunteering within an art museum in the United Kingdom.
- Focus Group Two: A discussion with Muslim art museum staff. This is for anyone currently working or volunteering in an art museum, and who identifies as Muslim.
For those unable to partake during your work hours for your organisations and/or freelancers there is a £25 honorarium which you can claim for your participation. Focus Groups require one hour of your time and will be online.
