Job Opportunity: Arts and Humanities Research Coordinator, Kew Gardens

This new three-year post will play a crucial role in developing the arts, humanities and social sciences within a major science institution. Our existing programme has been highly successful, attracting grants from the Arts and Humanities Research Council, British Academy and Wellcome Trust, among others, and including funding for a current cadre of 9 AHRC-funded PhD students. The subject scope is broad, including histories of empire, medicine, art, collections, museums and gardens; archives and digitisation; and heritage and museum studies, and involves working with source communities in Brazil, India and elsewhere.

In this busy and varied role you will be involved at all stages of project development, from nurturing relationships with collaborators and devising research projects, to securing their funding and delivery. We’re looking for someone creative, with great communication skills and the ability to coordinate and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners.

Closing date: 11 September 2022
