Opportunity: Learning Programme Assistant, The Paul Mellon Centre

In this exciting role you will be working with the Paul Mellon Centre’s Learning Programme Manager, to support the administration and delivery of our Learning Programme over the summer months. In particular, you will be assisting on the delivery of the following three programmes: Yale in London; Graduate Summer School; and Write on Art.

Yale in London offers Yale College undergraduate students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take courses in London. The programme emphasises experiential learning and includes frequent class visits to museums, galleries and sites in London.

The Graduate Summer School is a lively twelve-day programme of workshops, discussions and encounters that brings together doctoral students in art history and art, from both the US and the UK.

Write on Art is a competition for school children that encourages young people to develop visual literacy and interpretative skills by asking them to write about a work of art.

The post is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term for three months from 1 June to 31 August 2022.

The salary will be £26,000 per annum, pro rata.
